        BHUTAN LEMONGRASS OIL, SPRAY AND MOSQUITO REPELLENT

        Bhutan Lemongrass (Cymbopogon Bhutanicus), belongs to the family Poaceae (Gramineae). The genus has about 55 species, most of which are native to South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia.

        It bears reddish-yellow to reddish-brown colour, with sharp, lemon odour properties.

        Citral is a significant constituent of Lemongrass oil content. The quality of Lemongrass oil is by its citral content and its solubility in alcohol; Bhutan Lemongrass Oil contents approximately 75 per cent of the citral content.

        BHUTAN LEMONGRASS PRODUCTS CONTAINS NO DEET AND TWEEN 20 (POLYSORBATE 20)

        Polysorbate is a simple sorbitol ingredient in personal care products. However, it is commonly diluted with ethylene oxide, also known as polysorbate 20 or tween 20, to become an emulsifier for cosmetic products (mix oil and water). When treating polysorbate with ethylene oxide, it can then become contaminated with a potentially dangerous byproduct - 1,4-dioxane - an animal carcinogen that can penetrate the skin.

        Lymphoma and leukaemia are the cancers most frequently reported to be associated with occupational exposure to ethylene oxide.

        My house has lizards crawling around. Lemongrass is one of the natural remedy I checked would repel them. According to my MIL, the days that she sprayed the area, that aren’t lizards’ poop. But when she didn’t spray for that particular day, lizards’ poop appeared again
