How to Use Turmeric Everyday

Turmeric is a root from Southeast Asia. Hailed as the “Indian Saffron” for its beautiful golden brown colour, Turmeric was perceived as the panacea for centuries.

TURMERIC FOR FAST FLATULENCE RELIEF
One tablespoon of turmeric can be added to 8 ounces of juice or water and drink when experiencing gas, as an effective, all-natural remedy that is not only able to treat the symptoms of gas but the underlying issues as well.

TURMERIC FOR NAUSEA RELIEF

Turmeric has useful nutrients that not only provide nausea relief but soothes the underlying issues as well. Combine one teaspoon of powdered turmeric with one teaspoon of grated ginger and 8 ounces of water, almond or coconut milk and drink 1-3 times when nauseated.

TURMERIC TO INCREASE IMMUNITY

To increase your body’s antioxidant levels, you can blend 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup strawberries, tops removed, one peeled banana, half cup spinach, one tablespoon of powdered turmeric and one tablespoon of Bhutan honey, add 1 cup of ice to the blend and drink daily for the best effects.

TURMERIC FOR SORE THROAT RELIEF

To make a throat-soothing drink, combine one tablespoon turmeric, 1 cup coconut milk, one teaspoon honey and one teaspoon cinnamon, served warm or at a warm temperature, drinking at least once daily while dealing with a sore throat.

TURMERIC FOR HEADACHE RELIEF

To make a headache-relieving drink, combine 8 ounces of water or coconut milk with one teaspoon of powdered turmeric and drink every few hours until symptoms subside.

TURMERIC FOR ARTHRITIS RELIEF

To make a natural arthritis pain reliever, in a small pot, bring 1 cup water to a boil over high heat. Add one green tea bag, one teaspoon of powdered turmeric, one teaspoon of powdered ginger and one tablespoon of organic honey and steep for 10 minutes, drinking 1-3 times per day for optimal results.

TURMERIC FOR RESPIRATORY RELIEF

To make a lung-clearing drink, combine one teaspoon powdered turmeric, one teaspoon organic honey and 8 ounces of water or coconut milk, drinking 3-6 times per day to fight respiratory infections and restore the health of the systems of the body that will keep the respiratory system running as intended.

TURMERIC FOR TOOTHACHE RELIEF

To prevent a toothache, make a mouth rinse combining a quarter cup of warm water with one tablespoon of powdered turmeric. Swish around the mouth several times a day to alleviate the pain of a toothache while addressing the underlying cause

TURMERIC FOR ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE PREVENTION

To make a coconut-curcumin tonic that can help prevent Alzheimer’s disease, heat 1 cup of coconut milk in a microwave-safe bowl for 1-2 minutes, or until heated thoroughly. Stir in 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger, powdered turmeric, and honey until dissolved and thoroughly combined.
