Cordyceps or Yartsa Guenbup in Bhutan, has fetched a maximum price this year as compared to previous years. A kilogram of Cordyceps would cost Nu. 12,20,000. In 2011, the highest a kilogram of Cordyceps fetched was Nu. 5,00,000.

This year, the collection of Cordyceps has decreased. Only about 200 kilograms of Cordyceps were collected as compared to 500 kg in 2011.
