General Questions**

*HOW DIFFERENT ARE BHUTANESE INCENSE COMPARED TO TIBETAN AND NEPALESE INCENSE?

Bhutanese incense is based on the intensity of the aroma and has a slower burning time.

* WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF MAKING BHUTAN INCENSE?

All ingredients are first ground into powder mixed with water, sugar and honey. This mixture will then undergo a fermentation process that takes about a week or so to produce its unique fragrance. A tree bark, Tshe, will be added to the mixture as an adhesive and mashed before molding to the stick shape. The sticks will then straighten, trimmed into different lengths, and dried in the shade for 4 to 5 days.

*HOW WE DETERMINE THE GRADES OF THE INCENSE?

Juniper is the main component, and the amount of juniper determines the Grade of the incense. The better the Grade, the lesser usage of the juniper.
