  • Exposure to DEET, may cause hives or dermal irritation, and to the extent of blistering, burning, and scars tissue.

 

Harmful Effects of DEET to Eyes, Ears, Nose, and Throat

  • Affected areas to a small amount of DEET, may cause a short-termed burning and redness.

 

Harmful Effects of DEET to Digestive System

  • If consumed a small amount of DEET, may cause moderate to severe stomach discomfort, nausea, and vomiting.

 

Harmful Effects of DEET to Cardiovascular and Circulatory System

  • If consumed a significant amount of DEET, may cause low blood pressure, and Bradycardia problems (heart rate less than 60 beats per minute).

 

Harmful Effects of DEET to Nervous System

  • Long-term exposure to DEET above 50 percent dosage, may cause insomnia, disorientation, mobility difficulty, seizures, coma, and to the extent of severe brain damage.
